Thanks guys. All your comments are appreciated. It's been 24 hrs now since we actually flew this vid and I'm still in awe. At one point I radio'd Denny to tell him he just missed a deer. Nothing like getting blood all over that new prop .... much less that new Tanarg! lol Flying the rolling hills in formation at extremely low level takes a degree of concentration - but when you add in those trees ... WHEW!!!! That's a whole new dimension!!

Hunting deers with a prop? what could be a better trike than that. Ideal for "Billy Bobs" as mentioned by Larry in one of his cartoons. LOL...In all seriousness I am amazed how far trike videography has come. Great job, the question is how are you going to top this? I guess you will have to hunt that deer with your props :)

lol - I thought the same thing after making 'Floating Population'. When I was in my car headed home last night, I was already working the iphone for the right song. Problem was it was only 3:48 sec long. I needed more time to tell this story. Luckily I had this tune someplace. When it's meant to be, it'll all come together I guess. There'll be more!

Damn Tom, that was truly great to watch, the colours you captured not only in the sky but the fields and the few small lakes towards the end of the clip, that was really special, big well done, think i'll give up doing vids now, nothing as spectacular as that here in Aus near me to compare, good stuff mate.....(-:

Tom...yeah the terrain down there by Denny's place is cool! A few of us Canadians where invited down to Denny's place five or six years ago and he showed us a real good time. Have you flown down the Columbia over to Seven Bays yet? That's a great grass strip where they live and fly right from there door! Bradley

Eric - I'd like to come down there and do some flyin'. Don't count me out. We could put together some awesome stuff!!

Joe - I like guys like you - you keep the pressure on. lol

Bradley - I did a run up to 7 bays and have two cameras worth of vid. I've got to hit that at a better time to make it interesting. Davenport was an interesting little stop.

Side note: I had three cameras going for this vid and all recorded some interesting shots. But I chose to use just the nose cam which is mounted next to the tire (that gives the impression of the really low terrain shots). The wing view and mast view are getting a little old for me and besides, the vid should put you - the viewer - in the seat of the lead trike. I'll keep playing around with views and such to see what works best but for now - it seems flyin' chase is what's generating a lot of interest. I'm pleased you all are watching an 8 min vid!

Well - I've got so much vid from the other cameras from this flight, I'll make a 'Part II' sometime this winter when the snow's flyin' and we're waiting for the warmer pings of spring.

Larry - I agree with you. And, using just the nose cam shot also makes for a passive perspective .... that is until we get down on the deck. Thanks fellas for the comments.

Henry - if you make it up here next summer, we'll visit some great spots. As for your area, I've spent a lot of time out in the Anza Borrego desert and would luv to get a trike out there sometime.

I'll try to do a video for everyone on that - mounting, making, editing, and uploading vids. It'll have to wait though until spring. lol
