Did you have to certify as new model - 1st in USA - by an ASI?

    Tony,
Yes I had the local FSDO ASI do it directly since I work with them closely. Actually this is the third of this new airborne model in the USA there are two in Hawaii. This is the first in the continental US.

Thanks Paul. How about the BRS install, do you already have a BRS installation manual (from BRS) or are you using the manufacturer's guide? I wonder because I thought BRS has to approve for SLSA. I want to make changes to the P&M install but seems complicated if I got to get BRS involved in doing a new install guide. How did you get the BRS install approved for SLSA?

Wondering if the foot rest pedal for the rear seat can slide back and forth. it looked like Paul was pretty cramped back there.

    Thomas,
Those foot pegs are for getting in and out. The person in back would typically rest their feet on top of those or the pegs can be moved in. The back seat of this new Airborne is much roomier, less cramped and more comfortable than the older airborne version. Big improvement. It might actually be comfortable, we shall see pretty soon.....
