Nice film Henry with some stunning and varied scenery. I need to
take my Tanarg back to Pattaya again for her Annual Inspection -
345 nautical miles! Last time it took me 5 hrs and 40 mins.
Great trip Henry...looks like some spectacular views along the
coast and mountains. I just did my first long XC with John Williams
from Williamsburg, VA--230nm from KSIF in NC to 19A in GA and it
was a great experience. I enjoy watching your videos...keep up the
great work Henry!
Hi Henry - yes, 11 hours there and back (700 nm). The iXess 13 with
the 912S will cruise at 73 mph and I'll have a tail wind on the way
there so I should do it in about 5 hours - may even do it in one
hop (on one tank-full) if I fly solo.
What a great trek and a well shot video. Looks beautiful. What time
did you take off? Looks like you had a good head wind on landing
back at Santa Paula. In any case, well done and hope to join you
one of these days!
I left Oceano airport at around noon and arrived at Santa Paula
airport just after 2pm.
There was 15 mph head wind at Santa Paula. No crosswind. It was
easy landing.
We should do more x-countries, for witch our 912 machines are
built.
Your soon the man to beat when coming to trike films, just love
what you do with all your cams and like Jan said I like the info
you give in your vids..
Hi Ronny, thank you for your comments.
Three of us just finished the trike trip over 900 miles in the
central California. I made 5 movies. They are on my youtube
page.

That means you have to x-country more than 11 hours ?
I can never fly that fast with my Tanarg with 80HP 912 and iXess15.
My GPS is Garmin 695.
I have done very few x-country before. This was a major challenge for me.
It was foggy everywhere along the coast, but it cleared up in the afternoon.
I could have some spectacular views in the flight.
