Flight to Hamar, from west to east of southern Norway

by Frode Leikvoll on 22nd Oct 2008 | View all blogs by Frode Leikvoll

I had a fantastic flight to the eastern part of Norway to visit a friend. I also met my instructor that I hadn't seen in several years. The flight started in bad conditions, but clouds cleared and I had a fantastic experience. The trip was 800km in total, it was interesting to watch the scenery and nature  along the flight ,changing from steep mountains and fjords to almost flat land and lakes.

Pictures says more than words, I have made a gallery with pictures captured along the flight. I have also added text above each picture. Follow the link below:

Hope you enjoy.

    Hi Frode!
    Great pictures - and what a great flight it must have been!
    What a shame you didn't reach me on the phone that day - :o{

    Next time I would like to meet you half way - at Klanten or Dagali - and maybe we can fly back to Rosendal together. It would be great to gather up 3-4 of us and fly across Hardangervidda in formation!!

    Until then; Keep up the great work with you pictures and movies - and fly safe!
