Was there a question about that. Of course there is plenty of room. It's just not a sofa. That guy was tall. He loved it though.

At least it's a rectangular pattern unlike Oshkosh with octagonal turns. It would be nice to see the runway at both Sun N Fun and Shkish from downwind. Runways just disappear behind the tree line.

Some raw footage of left base to final at Sun N Fun. You must fly over the BP station and right of the Geico parking lot. Turn final as you pass the water tower and come in over the parking lot. Set your altimeter to 0 and fly the 400ft AGL ...

Even at 6ft 5" tall in the back seat Brian says he has all the room he needs as we lift off from SNF15.

    Hey Todd,
I saw you joined the Tanarg Triker's group today! Awesome!
Thanks for the help with the Enigma panel- it is a lot of work to switch- better to get it stock I'd say. It's about 90% wired in now (so many harnesses to make, engine, radio, comm, transponder, etc). I'll have info and pictures to share with anyone who wants to know how I did it- also I collected a lot of the technical details and drawings in one location now.
Anyway, I hope to be in the air again soon- it's possible it could be just before sunset tonight if things go smoothly today. Have some great flights yourself.

Congrats Todd! I bet it was awesome for you. We'll have to all get together for some flying soon. There is 3 of us around MB, SC. I had emailed Jonny T about getting my check ride this fall. Still had not set a date for that. It would of been a good weekend for flying here in Myrtle Beach but I had to do the yard sale thing & I strained my back putting in a new hot water heater. Shouldn't of carried it myself. Congrats again!!

Hi Todd, You can't get any better instruction than from Terri--top notch gentleman! Yes, the Clipper is sold and new owner, James Mauch, is located in Louisville. He'll be receiving his new bird next week if the weather cooperates. He has 25 hours of training, so I should be able to get him up and going rather quickly.

Keep in mind asking Terri to come to Greensboro for some of your latter training. The cost can be split between others requiring his services. I've also got Jonny Thompson coming to our area soon, and he is a loooong time pilot/instructor from Currituck. Fly high, Doug

Pleasure was ours Doug. I will be in Lynchburg next weekend and plan to catch a flight with Terri Sipantzi and check out his operation. My guess is that I will begin my sport pilot license training so any thoughts you might have on best place to do that would be appreciated. Kevin speaks highly of Terri. Did you sell your Clipper we saw last weekend? Todd
