Thanks Todd, That looks beautiful and so does your trike, If money was NOT an object, I would definitely have an Air Creation Tanarg too :) Do you by any chance have a close up of the mount itself.

Note the yellow ear plug super glued to the top of antenna. Keeps me from polking my eye out. :)

Riz - I have used both the keel mount and the strut mount successfully. To Larry's point I prefer not to have cables running up into the wing and having to disconnect and remove bracket when folding and transporting. There can also be issues with ...

This is one of my all time favorite videos. Our own Jonny "CYA" Thompson is one of the DragonFly tug pilots.

Neil Bungard demonstrating spiral dive handling and recovery in Bionix 13 wing on his recent trip to North Carolina. Great hands-on training from one of the best...and as a CFI I am alway eager to improve my pilot and training skills.

Finding an AP took me two months, two states and two people. Glad I have my rating now. I agree that some of the thing covered would be considered common knowledge, but there was a good bit that was not. Even the proper use of the tools and ...

375 Ole, well worth it to now to do my own inspections (legal Again). A lot was common knowledge for us but other things were very educational. Neil, Mia and Todd (host) did a fantastic job. I set-up from trailer so I kinda inspect as I go each ...

    Hey Todd,
I saw you joined the Tanarg Triker's group today! Awesome!
Thanks for the help with the Enigma panel- it is a lot of work to switch- better to get it stock I'd say. It's about 90% wired in now (so many harnesses to make, engine, radio, comm, transponder, etc). I'll have info and pictures to share with anyone who wants to know how I did it- also I collected a lot of the technical details and drawings in one location now.
Anyway, I hope to be in the air again soon- it's possible it could be just before sunset tonight if things go smoothly today. Have some great flights yourself.

Congrats Todd! I bet it was awesome for you. We'll have to all get together for some flying soon. There is 3 of us around MB, SC. I had emailed Jonny T about getting my check ride this fall. Still had not set a date for that. It would of been a good weekend for flying here in Myrtle Beach but I had to do the yard sale thing & I strained my back putting in a new hot water heater. Shouldn't of carried it myself. Congrats again!!

Hi Todd, You can't get any better instruction than from Terri--top notch gentleman! Yes, the Clipper is sold and new owner, James Mauch, is located in Louisville. He'll be receiving his new bird next week if the weather cooperates. He has 25 hours of training, so I should be able to get him up and going rather quickly.

Keep in mind asking Terri to come to Greensboro for some of your latter training. The cost can be split between others requiring his services. I've also got Jonny Thompson coming to our area soon, and he is a loooong time pilot/instructor from Currituck. Fly high, Doug

Pleasure was ours Doug. I will be in Lynchburg next weekend and plan to catch a flight with Terri Sipantzi and check out his operation. My guess is that I will begin my sport pilot license training so any thoughts you might have on best place to do that would be appreciated. Kevin speaks highly of Terri. Did you sell your Clipper we saw last weekend? Todd
