Therry PRADINES Hi, pilots ! Can someone telle me where to see the "bulletins" that we post ???? I sent 2 of those in the last 5 hours, but I can see nothing in the forum section, or in my group ( Floatin pilots) .... and I did not find any section related to the way ths forum is working . Therry PRADINES Sure I will wait for warmer conditions. OK for the trade anyway. If you come along on my island this winter you are welcome for a ride on my FIB ,on back seat to start with (except Xmass and begining january, when I will be in France). Please note : maximum weight for passenger is 90 kg .

Tom Currier Did you post them under "Float Flyers"? In response to that I purchased a Cygnet with Pontoons rather than a FIB for a few reasons. First, stability in waves. The Cygnet does handle waves much better and at all angles. Second, the FIB can flip much easier in a cross wind if you're not careful. The Cygnet is much more forgiving. The FIB is more agile in the air as it's more streamilined which is a tradeoff from a pontoon trike but too me, the takeoff, landing, and water taxi characteristics of the Cygnet were more important. Some FIBS have a wheel setup making them amphibs but the Cygnet excels in this area too.

Therry PRADINES Txs for your answer,Tom ; yes I posted on the float group ( unless I made a mistake ??) Anyhow, ,browsing and contributing in trikepilot social needs serious study to understand who it works !!! For exemple, can you tell me where I should click to find the message to which you answered ????? For your comments regarding the Gygnet , I would be interested to fly one some day to make my own judgment. For the FIB, you are right: stability is not its best quality in case of cross wind ....mine is equipped wth wheels but I stopped to use its amphibian capacities because hadling of wheels ( up / down / block/unblock) is a source of mistakes .....I use the wheels to go into/ou water, from the beach where I rig/unrig the wing comfortably .

Tom Currier Sounds like a good bartering opportunity. Come up to NH and take a ride in my Cygnet and trade that for a ride in your FIB down in Martinique. It's cold as all get out here in NH with snow on the way tonight so you might want to hold off until spring, summer or fall.
