So after much searching we purchased this beautiful Air Creation 582SL from Chris Wills up in Twin Falls Idaho. My wife Marta and I couldn't be happier with this beautiful Trike! More importantly, we both made a wonderful new friend! Chris I know you'll get to read this at some point in time, but I wanted to take the time to publicly say, thank you for everything!! :D

Awesome Leo, that is a very beautiful trike. Most of my early flying was at Buhl Airport near Twin Falls. Congrats again

    Thank you!
Beautiful area Riz! On one of our flights, Chris and I flew his new Quik GTR450 to Buhl Airport for a touch and go. The scenery there is spectacular!

Hope you have wonderful flights on your beautiful bird. Consider flying her to Moore, ID July 13-18 for the King Mtn. Gliderpark Safari "all birds welcome" event. It follows next week's (July 7-12) King Mtn. Cross Country Championships (hang gliders), which I will be attending. I won't be flying a trike there this time, but would love to tow the trike up for next year's events.

Sweet looking AC ride Leo! I'm also an AC 582 driver and have the GTE model. Still rebuilding and maintaining her but I recently solo'ed and now I'm getting use to the light weight / one up characteristics. If you have some spare time, could I get a pic of your instrument panel? I'm re-designing mine and I'm interested in options.

@Eric, Thanks Eric, I also won't be ready till next year. But that sounds like a really cool event to shoot for.
@Scott, Thank you Scott, you bet, let me see if I can get ya a picture. I'll shoot you one over after work.

Right now I'm in the process of getting my student pilot certificate. I made an app for Thursday so I can pick that up. In the meantime, I have to look for a CFI near my area to train me while I'm studying for my FAA knowledge exam.

Thanks for the heads up Reb, I don't blame ya, it's getting really hot!
I am in need of a CFI in SoCal. I've spoken with Matt Liknaitzky in Torrance but doesn't hate time due to other full time work schedules. Matthew Robinson's PH# is incorrect, and I've left a msg with Jon Thornburgh in Redondo. Needless to say....the choices in my local area are not looking too good. : /

Read it! I'm so happy my baby went to a nice family!!! It was a pleasure having Leo and "the gang" come and visit. Made a great friend and we were lucky to squeeze in a few nice flights as low pressure rolled across southern Idaho. I also really enjoyed flying the AC/Aeros again... Sweet ride!! Best of luck Leo!!!

Howdy Eric Beckman! Just read your post about the King meet. Glad they're still upholding the tradition! I started flying King in the mid '80s when the road to launch was a grind straight up the face. "King Mountain...where pilots get small". Spectacular site but that's some big game flying...not a site for novices. I remember one flight in particular...upper launch was around '8000 (if I remember right)...went down to 7K' before hooking a series of rippers that took me to 13,000' in about 6 minutes. Specatular view up there!!

Best of luck at King Mtn. Eric!
