Better to be an individual, "Then band with a den of vipers!" As you see, no responses, but your's, relative, "Experiencing, the same, Fluke, but the one you know, was of a permanent nature." Paul Hamilton Bill, This not getting on the web site has happened to me many times on this site and others. It is a simple server glitch or worse a hostile hack/attack on the web site. Do not take it personally. It has nothing to do with you. To set the record straight - No one got banned from this web site based on my request. This is this simply not true and never happened. These type of accusation is inappropriate forum behavior which I hope not to see again.

Rizwan Bukhari thanks Bill, but Bill, in your particular case, it seems like a computer thing. Bill, i don't have any dogs in any fights, just my 2 cents. Paul, maybe you don't remember but about three or four years ago, you and another trike pilot were really getting into it. he was some "skydog" or something, i can't remember the name now. and if memory serves me right you did make a request to Spencer to do something about it on this forum and it was taken care of. which was a good thing because it was ruining everyone's fun. so it was a win win for every one. anyways, i don't wish to further discuss this with you because i don't want to get into an endless debate with you, you are welcome to write a blog on it. have a great day.

Doug Boyle Rizzy, " Skydog" was a pseudonym for a contributor who is still contributing on this site under his real name. Some, not many, still use a pseudonym and this is what the brouhaha was all about.

Bill Crow I agree with Doug on the "pseudonym" usage, as "Crow," the name of my "Bird," is used as my last name. However, the original issue "I posted," was the unexplained, "Blocking of access to the TPS server," (Large Open Hand, 403 error notice, stating, "You are not permitted access to this server!" I requested information from those experiencing the same thing and a request, directed to the "Web-master," for an emergency contact number if this happens. I've had three, pertinent, responses, concerning this, "Paul Hamilton, Drew PawlaK and Rizzy." The only, "Poster," stating they had experienced this problem, was Paul. As far as I'm concerned, after experiencing it two separate and distinct occasions for a total of eight days, the jury is still out! If it happens, inadvertently, "I'm sure Spence, the Web-Master," would really want to know!"

Doug Boyle Bill, I'm not computer super-literate but I'm pretty sure a Server Error is between your Provider and the Server they use. If this is the case then the World Wide Webhas not begun to Search for the address you requested. Inotherwards, the problem happens before your computer reaches anybody you called--sort of like the cellphone saying "all circuits are currently busy". Just a guess on my part....

Bill Crow I'm pretty sure Doug. that you've been told and fed with information, "That I'm the Boogy Man," but information can only be based on the source and it's biasing, values. "I have nothing to gain, but for the well being and circumstances, allieviating the potential conflicts, of those using this site and asking honest, but sometimes naive, questions." Believe it or not, "I really do care!" I have swallowed hard, when some of the responses to others, were down right arrogant and demeaning to those seeking answers. Almost like today's politics, and Donald Trump! How many people know, how many of his companies were "Bankrupted?" He's got the money now, "But how did he get it" and at what cost? Some people are exceptional pilots, but are they good and reliable business people? Are they using their, self orientated, attributes, to dazzle those, that are seeking and evaluating there products, based on their implied reputations. This is the best "Trike Site Going," I want to see it improve and to continue to be the "Light," Required for, neophytes, like myself, for the nurturing and benefit of all of us, not a devisive tool, for the personal objectives, of what is considered to be, influential, individuals... Freedom of speech is our "Birth right," and as a "Disable Veteran," I will dispute anyone or anything that attempts to impede this right! Criticism only hurts, when it should...

Doug Boyle Bill, Several years ago there was a young, promising trike pilot that took an associate flying with him, and lost his life! Nothing due to his fault but rather a selfish suicidal opportunity.

Bill Crow I have heard, "Outside This Forum," and have seen, what I consider, "Possible Validations," confirming those allegations, that influence can get you, unjustifiably, "Barred and/or Banned," from this site, without warning or notice. As this has happened to me recently and on two separate, multi-day occasions, I would like to know, if any members experienced the same prohibitions? Those reading my past or recent postings, can see, "I have done or written nothing, warranting that action!" When it happens, you get a, "Full Screen, Open Hand," with a 403 error code stating, "You do not have permission to enter this server!" I would like to know, "If any members were subjected to the same!" If this is a "Inadvertent Fluke," I would sincerely request, that the "Web-Master," Spencer, furnish us with an emergency contact number, as we are unable to access this site, or him, during this prohibition. "I know as a fact," that some, so-called, "Influential Members," are able to contact him, at will. "I sincerely await your responses and hope that this request, is not answered with another 403 error code!"

Bill Crow Doug Boyle, "You've been on this site longer then me, "Has it ever happened to you?" As I previously stated," "It has happened to me, twice before, after two, unstated, off-site conflicts." Being you brought it up, "It's called, "Circumstantial Evidence," compelling, not conclusive. After all, "I just asked a question, based on my, personal experience and the posted statements." I'm sorry you have taken that attitude," but am not apologetic for asking a question...

Drew Pawlak Bill - never had an issue accessing the site in the past. My assumption is that if you don't have access one day and then for some strange reason have access again, then it might be connection related. If you were banned, someone would have to revoke your access and then reinstate it.

Bill Crow Abid Farooqui, I want to sincerely thank you, for all you've done to help me, by accurately, "setting up and fine tuning," my new, Discovery EFIS, with no stake or financial interest, whatsoever. As you are the manufacturer, "SilverLight Aviation," of the, "Apollo Delta Jet, Trike and Gyro's," and I am the owner of a "Revo, Evolution's Aircraft, Trike," a competing organization and knowing my, "current financial circumstances and limitations," I find this highly commendable, in every aspect of the word. Unfortunately, "Service after the sale," wanes with the weakness of one's financial capabilities, future for potential purchases and the interests of the associated manufacturer and distributor. Again I want to thank you, Matt of (MGL), Rand Vollmer, SALSA Aviation/Pipistrel, Sinus motorgliders & Rotax AP, and a special and sincere thanx to Dave Miller, my prominent CFI and Proxy, to Evolution Aircraft. Their help and assistance, in the preparation of my REVO, for my upcoming flight, from Zephyrhills to Concord NH, later this month, could not have been made possible. Finally, Barry Maggio, my mentor, former "Monsoon Owner," and current owner of a "New, Apollo Gyro." He has preceded my, current, "Cross Country Initiative," by six trips, in his Monsoon, consisting basically, of the route and airports I will be utilizing. Although he is quite a, "Task Master," without his direction, expertise and encouragement, this, "attempt," would not be possible ."A heartfelt thanx," to Barry. For the record, "I am sincerely looking forward to the challenge and experience this flight will bring."

Bill Crow Thanx for your advice Abid, "I do know you have my interests at heart." The precertification cross country requirements are no different then the longest leg of my scheduled trip and I'll have to get the experience, sooner or later. I already have Dan;s number, but "Trikes are made for flying!" If I didn't want to fly, "I'd of bought an Airstream." :)

Abid Farooqui You are most welcome Bill. It was my pleasure and not a big deal. I still wish that your first long cross country as a fairly new pilot would be with someone with more experience. I think there is more safety in that approach. Just take it easy and slow one leg at a time. Don't mess around with weather.

Abid Farooqui Btw, Dan is leaving here in a trailer to pickup an RV airplane from Maine soon. It might be worth it to check what he would charge to take your trike to NY on his way there. It might be the same money you would spend on just gas and Kotek stays along the way. If you are interested in that text me and I will give you his number.
