Doug Campbell Does anybody have a Lynx transceiver cable that will plug in to my portable interface box? I have a Yaesu FTA-230 and the cable will not be available until late in the month. So based on whatever cable I purchase from you, I would then buy he appropriate radio or perhaps you can sell me the cable and the radio together. My training is going well. Gary Berdeaux is an incredibly intuitive and patient instructor and he has nearly convinced me that those pedals I have my feet on are not for RUDDER control.4 years ago

Doug Campbell Picked up my first Trike (Airborne Edge Classic 582) from Buddy Babcock at Trick Trikes yesterday. Did some Training. Super Good experience! Very professional. Highly recommended. Now back to the Bluegrass of KY.4 years ago

Chuck Burgoon Trikes are fun…and like airplanes (cars, boats, motorcycles), each has its own mission parameters and design objectives. Eventually you’ll figure out what kind of triking you like best. It depends a great deal if you like to fly alone or with other aircraft. The real trick…one which I have never been able to do…is get only *one trike* to do everything you want to do. If you fly with others you need to match speeds. If you want to go XC, then speed and range matter. If you want a hanger trike or a hauler trike. If you want STOL capabilities, you give up XC capabilities…it’s a compromise.

Abid Farooqui Stealing it? Why would you want to use a VOX system in an open cockpit aircraft. They would suck. Use something like a Flycom system or a lynx system that are not VOX

Gary Berdeaux I beg to differ Abid! I find the MicroAvionics enclosed helmet com system is very effective. It provides clear quiet communications between me and my students. The system has 6db noise cancellation built in as well. Next time we get together we'll have to go for a flight so you can see for yourself how nice it sounds.
