Good timing for this blog, I am planning my 1st cross country in a trike this year! I am interested in the logistics, i.e. flying vs trailering and I too have many questions. While my trike has the "legs" to go practically anywhere, I know it is ...

Larry, the choppers give me the Willies and I give them a wide birth also. Love seeing the 17's takeoff. Never seen one in person lumber off loaded with bombs but the ones I've seen at air shows just seem to lightly lift off. Friend of mine flew ...

The future is here - in 3D! I assume that is the GoPro Omni 6 camera setup? Very immersive. I would be interested to see videos with the setup at pilot and passenger point of views.

A pleasure to meet Todd earlier in the day just after he and Neil Bungard got back from some early morning flying before the Tucson heat kicked in. Sleek looking Tanarg with Bionix13 wing and some cool avionics. Have fun flying it in North ...

I can remember seeing the cinnies flying. Bud Cushing, owner of 0C8 in IL. has thousands of hours as pilot for TWA.

    Larry,
I've been going to fly-ins for years. I ultimately decided that trailering to a fly-in is the best option for a few reasons:
    (1) WEATHER - going out, I've had in-route weather interfere. Coming back I've seen pilots make the "I have to get back" decision that has been dangerous
    (2) COMFORT - Usually if I flew out I'd be sleeping in a tent I brought with me.
My trike trailer can be lived in if you buy a cot - much more comfortable
    (3) AREA Transport - I like to see the surrounding community and just unhitch the trailer and go exploring. If you fly-in you're at the mercy (generosity) of others.

This is exactly why I traded in my REVO for a REV which in my opinion is the best built, best engineered and most easily transported part 103 trike on the market
