All great ideas! My props are about 32" plus the hub. These cases are adjustable from about 28" to 34" The end can be folded over and clipped. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0045LHTMC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I made a template of my Arplast prop blades on my Air Creation GTE float trike and my wife Cheryl sewed custom fitted neoprene covers to protect the blades in transit on the trailer. About $30 worth of material with some left over. Great covers ...

Peter Wallace has an economical idea for protecting prop during transport. He went to the local fire station and secured a length of old firehose, which he cut to fashion each blade. It's flexible, tough, and free!

Made mine out of foam panels cut and stacked. Glued them together with contractor glue. They cover the tips to about 1/3 down. large elastic strap keeps them taught to prop center so they don't fall off. Cheap protection since I trailer often.

TL Triker I would like a BRS especially if I fly a Cirrus. People talk about how awesome this plane is because is equipped with a chute, but they dont realize why the pilots keep pulling the handle in first place. Most of the chute deployments are due to engine failures. I would not buy an airplane that is prone to engine failure just because it has a chute, why would you risk your life twice with this airplane.

Jim Davidson The guys engine died so he turned a perfectly good glider into an uncontrollable falling object?

Leo Iezzi I looked up the airport and placed an 8 mile diameter circle around it. It's got some really dense populated areas.

Hi Tom, I have a BRS-6 1050 lb capacity on my trike, ... paid around $3000 for it from BRS Aviation, installed it myself in about 2 hours. Who is quoting you $6K?

I was a skydiver before I started flying trikes. I jump with a reserve, so my rational is that I should fly with with as well. I have a BRS. Regarding the repack... call a few Dropzones and ask to talk with the master rigger. I once had my ...

If you want to stay under $200, the Garmin Etrex HC, with some mounts and chargers will work, but it won't have any aviation stuff at all.

If you can come up with $450-$500, the Lowrance 600C is a great aviation GPS

So Xmas is coming, and my wife told me to pick out a GPS unit for the trike. Would like to keep it under $200. I would like a large compass screen, and the ability to power with 12V from the trike. Any model suggestions? I have been looking on thegpsstore.com. thanks
