Thanks, I should point out that after taking off and heading north we ran into a killer headwind and spent the first day just making it to Rimrock AZ but made Monument Valley the next day (at sunset).

Yea, somebody was in town raising money. It put a crimp in the plans until it was realized how close to the edge of the TFR we were and it was decided to taxi to the edge so the powers at be would not get upset. We got quite a few odd looks taxing ...

There were a total of 7 aircraft on the trip. When the Sheriff saw what we were doing he decided to go ahead and block traffic on the Carefree Highway to allow us to get across and onto the other road. I don't think he quite knew what to do with ...

I do not take credit for this photograph, it was taken by the French. This is the start of a cross country flight from Pleasant Valley Airport to Monument Valley and back in 2004. The long taxi was forced by a TFR in place around Phoenix and all ...

Thank you. I have written several entries about making aerial photographs <a href="http://theskygypsies.blogspot.com/2009/07/panoramic-aerial-photographs-utility-of.html" target="_blank">here>, <a href="http://theskygypsies.blogspot.com/2009/07/self-portrait-or-how-it-is-done.html" target="_blank">here</a>, and <a href="http://theskygypsies.blogspot.com/2009/06/different-kind-of-aerial-photography.html" target="_blank">here</a>. It is mostly planning and composition.

No John it was that green, it was recorded after the rains. I have been working on this technique for about 7 months and only now have it working. The first attempt became "Dark Planet UFOs" (2D) and I have been recording footage since then for 3D.
