agreed larry, the forks had to be made of 'uncooked' spaghetti'. my little echo lands on nasty crap like that all the time here in az, but i don't leave my arms out in the 'please break me' position, straight out, once i'm down i suck 'em back out ...

Man, having the passengers legs outside could have resulted in severe injuries. We had a similar event in NM and someone got hurt real bad cause their legs were outside

Looks to me like he did everything right. The forks look like they bent back WAY ago easily. Last month we saw a video of poor main gear causing issues in Walts video, to me this is poor nose gear.

Congratulations, very nice shows that the trike besides fun is safe, a unique experience, with no face wind and 360 ° vision, or nearer the flight of the birds.

Ted, I think a larger, tundra type tire helps. But here in Brazil it is very expensive and difficult to find these tires.

Eder fez tudo o que pôde. Trike não tem muito rake e ele pegou uma rotina. Glad Eder e Graci foram ok. Trike doesn't have much rake and looks like he caught a bad rut and front wheel dug in. It's instinct to stick your arm out like that but Eder ...

Santos Dumont invented the airplane. The one made with documented evidence and seen by multitudes.

The poem, below, describes our hero.

SANTOS DUMONT (The Father of Aviation)
    John Ayres * = MG = 20/07/1873 +23/07/1932
(19/10/1901) = First flight of the dirigible
(23/10/1906) = First flight of the airplane

In beautiful farm in the state of Minas Gerais,
Dona Francisca gave birth to a boy destined to name Alberto.
    The boy dreams live phenomenal.
In studies and games, would be a different boy.
Alberto loved mechanics and observe the flight of birds.
Pubescent, studied in Rio de Janeiro as they always wanted.
Specializing in science, he enjoyed the obstacles.
Then Albert was studying aeronautics in France, Paris.
At that time, the balloons were drifting winds.
Attached to a rope were supported by people on the ground.
Alberto set up shop and there, spent his time.
The dirigible to Alberto, it would be reality and not fantasy.
In Paris, Alberto invented the first dirigible.
In flights, unfurled a Brazilian flag to celebrate.
With zeal, Alberto search and search another invention at a high level.
In dreams, I would and now wants heavier than air!
In the workshop, Alberto makes and directs the workers as a teacher.
Build the "14 Bis", holds it to the balloon and ascend to heaven to experience.
There, the "14-Bis" covers sixty meters, the test was done!
Alberto marks the first day of the flight and tells all in advance.
The Club Aeronautas would see one of the greatest inventions of science ...
The "14 Bis flew three hundred meters, before a crowd blown away.
There, in Bagatelle, Paris, the first flight of the story without any doubt.
Clouds, in the infinite sky, sights the "14 Bis" and open up the aviation industry.
Alberto Santos Dumont believed and did. He did a lot of people doubted!

"To say that the Wright brothers were the inventors of the airplane, it says American playful!"
