John, Mark Andrews and myself both had input into the making of this current windshield, it is a trial and error thing, I will be making a new one as the cut outs for the control bar allow too much wind through now that the new wing cruises at 70 ...

Mike was it a structural failure? Or an accidental??
I have filled my cannister with a load of dirty clothes and before I fly I loop the bridle around my neck in a slip knot. That way I figure, if I ever do hang out the laundry, my troubles'll be over for good.

I heard of one being deployed in France on a Tanarg which ignited the fuel tank when it was fired. I'm afraid this story didn't have a happy ending.

The only in-flight deployment of a parachute recovery system aboard a trike that I know of was accidental. Boy could that ruin your day! Does anyone know of another? Oh, I know there's a long list of "saves" on the 'net but most of those are "loss of control" which I hope means "ran out of gas". But how about real structural failure kind of stuff?
By the way, the accidental failure was on an Airborne too!

    No Probs Mate,

Let's just hope in the unlikely event of ever using it in anger the bloody thing works, I have complete faith in the installation and I agree the deployment handle is in a far better spot now than it was,

    Cheers
