Hello Jackye, what kind of trike is that youre flying there? im
looking for a prowler to start with. someone told me you could tell
me a little about the prowler. the info i have is purely stats
because theres not much out there describing it and i havent known
of anyone who flies one. i hknow the designer lives close to
tennessee somewhere and that he builds only a few per year. do you
know what i need to know? CDS
Hi Charles!
Are you in Asheville yet? Yes, I had been "in lust" with Don
Cooney's Prowler's for going on 6 years. Don's got a home around
Knoxville, but he's a "globally mobile" guy!
Last time I spoke with him, he was offering a Prowler Kit that you
put together. The wing would be your choice if it would fit.
They're not for the beginning triker with the small 11 meter wing,
& he was limiting the experience.
I need more ground clearance for my type of farm girl flying. So, I
purchased Precision Composites UL products from the same supplier
that Don uses for the pod & pants. I started with a my
"primitive" Tukan Trike and "pimped it out".
Redesigning / remodeling for airworthy redundancy is much better
left to those that have a shop space. I have a junked up carport
& a plastic sheathed greenhouse that leaks. If you want to go
to my web album & see more pix of some of the parts fit up etc,
for the Deerefly the address is
<http://community.webshots.com/user/skyjackye>
It's slow uploading stuff so I've not done much editing.
There is a Prowler for sale on Barnstormers.com but I'm sure you've
seen that one.
E-me if you need more information, as Don doesn't do this web thing
much.
His "old" friend Eddie Smith, is probably the best contact on this
TrikePilot.com list.
Y'all have a good one!
Sorry that address must have been filtered out for spam control or
whatever it takes to keep my smutyy pix under wraps!8-)
