Dragonfly Camera Test.mp4

This is a quick test of a cheap camera mount I made for our Dragonfly nanolight. The camera lens' FOV is too tight. To make it worse - I ran out of tape just as I shut down and was getting into lift.

    Hello Tony:
The camera is just an old Panasonic DV camera. It is at least 9 years old. Nothing fancy at all.
I did compress the video to a high resolution in the final stages, hoping to get a better looking final copy for the internet.
I am trying to figure out a lighter weight, wider-angle camera for remote mounting. Do you have any ideas?
    Cheers,
    Wayne

    Awesome Wayne,
you need a simple wide angle adapter... check ebay or even your local computer store in the security camera department. It will add about 25% to the width of the FOV. Great job.. love the jazzy tunes too!

Great video, I want a Dragonfly but the wife would not let me buy a trike with no seat for her! Can we have some more videos? Would love to see one from a wingtip.
I think that Ben has done a good job on this little machine.
