I must admit my first solo was easy. Before I did my official solo
I was flying up and down the runway at 20 feet for about 4 hours. I
did this on 3 different days and by the time I was finished doing
that I had no problem landing...at least in calm winds.
I did one touch and go and one low pass and landed and picked up my
instructor and went back to the hanger. He flew with me around the
patch one time the next time I flew, but I have been on my own
since. I have not seen him since then and I have almost 25 hours
solo time.
I started my trike flying career on 1990. My instructor with my
father was learning flying on trike by yourself. Before we are flew
on hang gliders. If my "instructor" think that he know fly, then he
start learn me. Because he had 2 seats trike. There was real
catastrophe :-) We must laughing now...
