      Dan Hickox Thanks Philip. I think these may need an impedance matching circuit as well but I haven't tried this specific helmet. Most of the inexpensive paramotor helmets don't work well with a GA circuit without an impedance adapter. Some intercoms do the adjustment within their circuitry.

    If you stick with the centerline during takeoff as we are usually taught then yes runway behind you is useless. But if you fly a survival pattern then runway behind can save your bacon. Think about it.

    Well anyway, in case there's any triker out there who is unaware; if you crouch your wing down on the base tube and tie it down like that it is much more stable in a big wind.
