Thanks Jeff, I called the Kuntzleman, very nice people, had a long chat with them. My trike came with Strobes installed in it. I think it is old Kuntzleman. I hardly every use them. But the two strobes draw a lot of power, at least 2 volts. They ...

We have wing tip camera mounts coming out for our wings. Should fit others as well. Hang tight for them.

Riz, the battery voltage drops a tiny bit, like 0.1 or 0.2 volts. Much less that my old strobes which would drop it 2 V. I got rid of them. I usually fly with someone on the long multiday trips, on the day trips half are alone, and half with ...

Your new wing looks really great Jeff. What Speeds do you cruise at down to Negrito with it? What Speed do you like personally? Good stuff!

Impressive - would it be possible to see how you mounted it. It looks like it's floating in the air next to the trike. Stabilization is even better than my Sony FDR-3000. Iam looking into the Rylo as well. Thanks for sharing.

The first con on the Fusion is the price. I bought it at Amazon and got some credit signing up and getting the credit card, plus kickbacks for using the card. That shaved about $100 off the price. I like the Fusion better than any of my GoPro ...

Jeff, This video is awesome. It is so smooth. You can't see any stitching in this footage. Just phenomenal, nice and clean. The terrain is beautiful. As a viewer, watching a 3d video makes one feel like they are flying with you with unobstructed ...

Aim the view towards the hang point and watch the wing shift back at 1:16 to put the variable trim cables in tension. It really shows how the trim system works. What type of VR 360 camera did you get?

    Rizwan,
My Aerotrike Cobra originally had a Rotax 503 on it. I flew it without any problems for 275hrs. I wanted something with more power, and a less frequent overhaul schedule. I initially looked into putting an HKS on it, but was dissuaded by several experienced trike pilots who said I would waste a lot of time and money in rigging an engine mount for it.

Aerotrike offered a 912 kit that made the task much simpler. It included a new engine mount, exhaust system, throttle and choke cables and splitters, plumbing, carbheat kit, and lots of mounting brackets.

I bought the engine separately. Bought a DVD on how to install a Rotax 912 engine and spent 4 months working on it in my garage. It was a tough job.

One advantage of putting the 912 on is that I know that trike and engine inside and out, and since I plan to keep flying if for a long time, I can do a better job at maintaining it.

If you look on my webpage, www.jeffsflightlog.com and go to the year 2006 and pull up the flightlog "2009/09/25 Supertrike" to read more of the details.

Jeff, you said that you installed a 912 on your trike by yourself. Was it a 582 trike before? My friend Tom flies an Aerotrike cobra that has a 582 in it. I learned to fly on it..Awesome trike. But my question was did you convert a 582 trike to 912? How did you do it? Did you have custom made mounts? If you could educate me a bit, I would be very thankful to you.
