About

Since the demise of Cosmos trikes, getting parts and support is becoming more difficult. Wings are still available from one of Cosmos's subcontrators.

Just Got a new Contour SL 14.5 for my Phase II. Any suggestions on dealing with wind noise with comtronics helmets? Yes I have face shields but still can barely hear myself on the radio.

    Thanks

My amigo Jeff just returned from Mexico where he bought two sets of axles from Hans and Marcu who have all the Cosmos stuff in Tequesquitengo, Morelos. They charged $35 per axle. It looks like parts are available now through their web site. I suppose it helps in some cases if you have the parts number and I have those drawings. I would post them somewhere if anybody's got a web site for that.

Monte, so take it out and put in a pushpin. Or a longer bolt. But I have never heard of one of those bolts failing. Course... the way YOU fly...?

i,ve owned 3 chronos wings, 16m, 12.9 and 12m. they all shared what i consider a glaring fault. the bolt through the 'knuckle' at each end of the control tube isn't a plain shank ' the shear load is taken across the thread, not a sound idea. ok, i've not yet heard of a bolt failing, but on my wings i've run a 1/4" reamer through the holes (it only removes a few thou) and installed 1/4" AN bolts., of the correct length to provide a proper contact for the shear load not accross the thread ', i would really be pissed-off (not for long) if my bolts failed in flight, hugs all around, monty____

hey, i'm older than dirt, or this would be alongside the picture of my 12.9 ghost wing for sale, this computer crap puzzles me, anyhow i painted the eyeballs under the wing to scare rabbits, they do piss their pants when i'm over 'em, for a mere $1750 you could be the one scaring 'em, monty stone.
