About

Since the demise of Cosmos trikes, getting parts and support is becoming more difficult. Wings are still available from one of Cosmos's subcontrators.

Just Got a new Contour SL 14.5 for my Phase II. Any suggestions on dealing with wind noise with comtronics helmets? Yes I have face shields but still can barely hear myself on the radio.

    Thanks

My amigo Jeff just returned from Mexico where he bought two sets of axles from Hans and Marcu who have all the Cosmos stuff in Tequesquitengo, Morelos. They charged $35 per axle. It looks like parts are available now through their web site. I suppose it helps in some cases if you have the parts number and I have those drawings. I would post them somewhere if anybody's got a web site for that.

Monte, so take it out and put in a pushpin. Or a longer bolt. But I have never heard of one of those bolts failing. Course... the way YOU fly...?

Monty, take a punch and a hammer and punch a dot on either side. That should take care of the problem. I don't have much faith in glue.

These are a bunch of Euros who have been flying Cosmos for decades and living in Mexico all the while. They know the product very well. Apparently they went to France and bought all the jigs, molds and what have you. Shipped it all to Tequesquitengo, Morelos, MEXICO. I have yet to buy anything from them but it looks like identical parts will be far cheaper. They gave me a price on axles that was about $25 each.
