Hey to all, I was wondering with winter upon us if flight suits are the way to go in windy cold, or are ski jackets or mountain climbing gear just as good or better when just sitting. I know there's a lot of choices out there but I heard that if your not actually working up a sweat, that the thinsulate fiber, down filled is better. Dressing in layers works but is bulky and doesn't block the wind as well as a nylon. Any thoughts on this. I need to shop for some warmer gear. I hate being cold!

I bought a Xtreme Air Thermal suit off ebay, seller located in UK, it's pretty thin (120gram Thinsulate) and keeps me toasty warm and easy to move around in.
