Trikepilot Social

Hello , i am interested in the BMW 1100 trike engines , used alot in Europe, does anyone here in USA. have experience with these motors and could tell alittle about their experience with them as a trike engine. Thanks for your replies and help. Louis Craig

I am not in the US but I know of a few trikes with the engine here in Europe. The gearbox for converting the engine for aviation seems to be the expensive bit.
I know the engines very well as most of the bikes that I have owned have been BMWs and I now own two R1100S's.
