It sounds like John Keith from P&M was killed in a trike crash. I found these 2 links about the crash:

This is very sad news

We did not know John Keith, but we are friends of John Edgeworth and wanted to pass on that both Families are in our hearts and we pray for them. They were two good guys and left too soon, but they are in God's hands and are looking down giving us strength! God Bless.

Thank you, Sharon. We did not know John Edgeworth and would like to know more about him. Would you please share some of his life's stories with us? It's good to be reminded that two souls perished in this terrible accident--not just one. And, in addition, if you feel compelled, please contact Chuck Goodrum on Southeast-trikers@yahoo.com , in order to share some of John Edgeworth's life with the other trikers who might not be on this site. Thanks again and God bless, Doug

I only met John once, it was over a few days in '07. He flew in to Shawnee Field with Tony and Greg, I flew in with Spence from the Trike Pilot Ranch in Sawyer Michigan to meet them and take a look at a Quantum that Allistair had for sale. We shot the breeze and they waited patiently while I went for a few laps around the pattern, even though we were pushing our luck with daylight lasting the planned three hour convoy back to Sawyer. John and Tony looked her over and pronounced her worthy, a better recommendation can't be found. We made it to the Ranch with minutes to spare, Greg made the wise choice to divert to the lit runways of Michigian City Airport a few miles away. We shot the breeze, had a few beers and turned in. In the morning we saddled up and flew to the Cushing Trike Fest in Newark, IL. After that trip I talked to John a few times, got some good advice and ordered P&M goodies for my "new" Quantum. I looked forward to meeting up with him again. Until then, he'll no doubt be convincing angels that trikes are the only way to fly.

Here are some pics of John from that trip-

I'm all choked up. I have'nt been on in a while and to see john has passed saddens me greatly. I had the pleasure of talking on the phone with him last year. he reminded me of myself. Just a guy enjoying everyday to the fullest and not letting anything bad get in the way. I only hate I never got to meet him in person. Let his passion for flight fuel us. keep the faith and keep flying. My condolances to both john's and their families. He died doing what he loved and I can't think of a better way to go. God speed.
